Dr. Jennifer Keene was born in Baytown, Texas, and graduated from Sterling High School.
It was in high school that she spent time at Abshier Meuth Animal Hospital and was inspired by the amazing doctors there to become a veterinarian. She attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelors of Science and then a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She practiced in Houston for 7 years and then returned to Baytown.
In 2015, Dr. Keene & her family built a home in the Barbers Hill area. She is married to Alan Keene and is the mother of 4 talented and strong-willed children, Georgia, Grant, and twins Carter and Caroline. They keep her very busy with baseball, gymnastics, and theatre. They attend Old River Baptist Church and enjoy their time in worship, fellowship, and service. She prays to seek God's will in all things and is thankful that His mercy is new every morning!
She is loved by a 15-year-old Golden Retriever, Amos, that is practically perfect in every way and a 1-year old Hound mix, Mathilda, that is far from perfect but darn cute, and a 16-year-old cat, Esme, that lives to be loved on.
